Lauren Powers (born December 13, 1961) is an American actress, amateur bodybuilder, and former firefighter.

Powers was born in 1961 in Los Angeles, California. She graduated valedictorian from Huntington Beach High School.[1] She owned and operated a surfing academy on Maui while in college.[2] Powers graduated from the University of Hawaii with a business degree.[2]
Powers moved to Laguna Beach, where she witnessed the October 1993 fire that destroyed 17,000 acres (69 km2) of the town in a single day. Moved to join the Laguna Beach Fire Department, she began weight training in order to pass the physical agility test in 1994.
Powers competed in amateur bodybuilding contests from 2001 until 2003.
Powers has appeared on The Jenny Jones Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live and Freddie.
In 2007, Powers appeared on a television documentary in the United Kingdom called "Muscle Worship" on the Hidden Lives series on Channel Five.[3] Also she appeared on a show called Secret Lives of Women.[4]
On December 29, 2010, Powers appeared as a subject on TLC's "My Strange Addiction", in which she was addicted to bodybuilding and worked out six hours a day, six days a week.[5]
Powers stands 5' 8",[1] weighs 170 lb (77 kg). off season, with measurements of 45DD chest, 15" biceps, and 23" thighs.
